Jossilyn Starn

Heaven gained a precious angel in Jossilyn Christine Starn who received her wings on August 22, 2014. Funeral services for Jossi will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation prior to service time at 10:00 a.m. at the First Congregational Church in Marshalltown. Visitation will be held Friday, August 29, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Memorials may be directed to the family. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Jossi and her family. Jossi was born on August 12, 2011 to Jennifer Rabbitt and Cody Starn in Marshalltown. Jossi loved smiling and giggling. She was very energetic and loved to play with her brothers Charlie and Emery as well as her close friends Leia and Ashlynn. Jossi also loved to watch her favorite movie; Frozen. The family would also like to thank their friends and family for the amazing support that they have had during this time. Jossi is survived by her parents Cody and Jennifer. Brothers: Charlie Randall and Emery Starn. Grandparents: Mike and Connie Starn, Kathy Rabbitt, Roger (Joann) Bunting and Jim and Donna Collins. Great grandparents: Bev Rabbitt, John and Pat Starn and Nancy Jean Luense as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members. Jossi is preceded in death by her grandfather David Rabbitt, grandmother Barbie Jones, great grandparents Jerry Morrison, Marjorie Morrison, Chuck Rabbitt, Maryann Waters and Jeff Waters and cousin Josh Pritchett.
