Joy Ann Wiggins

Joy A. Wiggins, age 79, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025 in the comfort of her home.

Graveside services for Joy will take place on Thursday, December 18 at 11:00 A.M. at Riverside Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation. Joy Ann Long was born on June 11, 1946 in Marshalltown. She was raised by Clarence and Ruth Long alongside two stepbrothers in Dumont, Iowa, where she graduated from high school. Joy met the love of her life, Gary Wiggins while working in Mason City. They were united in marriage on October 2, 1970. They moved to Cedar Rapids, where Joy enjoyed shopping and keeping the home. After Gary opened his own insurance agency in Des Moines, Joy worked alongside him running the office. They shared a wonderful life together full of love and practical jokes from her husband. She loved the holidays, especially decorating for Christmas and Halloween.

Joy was beautiful inside and out and will be deeply missed by all those who knew her. She is survived by her husband Gary, several friends and neighbors, and their precious cat. Joy is preceded in death by her parents and her two stepbrothers.
