Juanita Kay Clark

Juanita Kay Clark (Dewey) passed on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Marshalltown, Iowa at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ed Hannahs officiating. Juanita was born on May 21, 1941 in Marshalltown, Iowa to the parents of Edward and Wanda Dewey. She graduated from BCLUW High School with the class of 1959, she attended Mercy College and obtained her LPN license. She was a LPN for many years working in various nursing homes including Marshalltown Manor and IVH. She loved crafts such as painting birdhouses, coloring, and making blankets and sweatshirts. When the weather was nice should could be found outside tending to her flowers and watching the birds. She had a passion for singing and could be heard from the next room. Juanita will be mourned by her children; Jeanette (Larry) Perdue, and Maureen Graves, of Marshalltown, 10 grandchildren, 25 greatgrandchildren with one more on the way, and one great-greatgrandchild. Siblings Patty (Gary) Lukehart of Marshalltown, and Linda (Vernon) Zmolek of Garwin, and many family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Ed and Wanda Dewey, a brother Bobby and infant sons Danny and Denny Lee.
