Judy Clemens

Judy Clemens 73, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018, under the wonderful care of the Iowa River Hospice Home with her loving family by her side.   Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Judy and her family.   Judith Claire Ritland was born on May 28, 1945, in Devils Lake, North Dakota; she was the daughter of Thore and Gertrude (Nomeland) Ritland. She attended the Marshalltown Community School District with the class of 1963. On March 31, 1962, Judy was united in marriage to Ray Clemens in Missouri and they had made their home in Marshalltown. She was a homemaker and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, all kinds of games and anytime with her family. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Wayne (Kim) Clemens of Marshalltown, Lynnette (Bob) Bishop of Marshalltown, Darlene (Tom) Long of Clear Lake, Iowa, Steve Clemens of Marshalltown, Rob (Robin) Clemens of Marshalltown, and Jeff Clemens of Marshalltown, grandchildren, Jeremy Munyon, Jennifer Long, Rebeca Long and Kaylee Clemens, sister, JoAnn (Charles) Butcher of Marshalltown,  and her constant companion, Dakota the dog.   In death Judy rejoins her parents, Thore and Gertrude, husband, Ray and brother, Dennis Ritland.
