Julia Bachel

Julia Ann Ridout Rasmussen Bachel, 88, passed away December 25, 2017. Graveside services will be at Fairview Cemetery Cedar Falls, IA at a later date. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Iowa River Hospice. Julia was born November 28, 1929 to Clyde and Orona Galloway in Beaman, IA.  She graduated from LaMoille High School and retired from Fisher Controls after 18 years.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Melvin Rasmussen, and grandson Air Force Staff Sgt. Juan Ridout.Survivors: Her husband Earl Bachel. Her children Mike Ridout (Olivia), Connie Lang (Rick), Karen Stephens, Mark Ridout (Melinda); five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  Her siblings Doris Rutherford, Vieve Mohr (Sonny), Phil Galloway (Darlene), Rex Galloway (Mae).
