Julio Elizarraras, 70, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 in the comfort of his own home. Following Julio’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A Funeral Mass for Julio will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Alan Dietzenbach officiating.  There will be no public visitation.  Memorial contributions may be directed in Julio’s name to his family.  For further information or to send a condolence please visit www.mitchellfh.com or call (641) 844-1234.  Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Julio and his family.  Julio Elizarraras was born on December 20, 1948 in Mexico City, Mexico, the son of Luis and Maria De-Jesus (Guiteres) Elizarraras.  Julio was united in marriage to Angelina (Rivera) Elizarraras in Marshalltown, Iowa.  He was a hardworking man, dedicating over thirty years at American Raising in California as a supervisor.  Julio had a passion for working with his hands, love working on his cars, dancing, singing, and spending time with his family.  Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Angelina; children: Salvador Beltran, Miguel Beltran, Elizabeth Elizarraras, Ricardo Beltran and Alberto Beltran; grandchildren: Angelique Elizrraras, Rosalie Mendoza, Miguel Angel Jr., Julie Marie, Moses Jacob and Mathew Joshua; siblings: Felipe Elizarraras, Herman Elizararas, Katalina, Alfredo, Anna and Jose Luis, as well as several nieces and nephews. Julio is preceded in death by his parents: Luis and Maria De-Jesus, as well as brothers and sisters.
