Kap Khen Mung was born on December 6, 1986, in Burma; he was the son of Thang Do Cin and Dim Khan Vung, and he attended school in the area of his birth. Kap had lived in Marshalltown for the past 2 years. He loved to be around people as he was a friendly person, loved his guitar, music and movies. Kap is survived by a brother and sister in Burma and an Uncle Zam Cin Thang of Marshalltown, Iowa.
