Kathleen Ann Fouch, 68, of Marshalltown, passed away Friday, August 5, 2011 at the Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.Funeral Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown with Scott Lothe officiating. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family. Mitchell Family Funeral is caring for Kathleen and her family.Kathleen Ann Thursby was born March 13, 1943, in Marshalltown, she was the daughter of Willard and Goldie (McMeekin) Thursby. She graduated from Rhodes High School in 1961. She then married Dale Fouch Jr. at the Rhodes Methodist Church, December 17, 1961. Kathleen was employed at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown as a Nursing Unit Coordinator for 33 years until her retirement in January of 2000. Kathleen and Dale were both members of the Moose Lodge of Marshalltown and The Marshalltown Street Rods Club. She enjoyed her arts and crafts, shopping with her grandkids, her collection of tea pots and light houses, scrapbooking, and wintering in Texas.She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Dale Fouch Jr. of Marshalltown; her two sons: David (Angie) Fouch of Altoona, and Mark (Dawn) Fouch of Cedar Rapids; her three grandchildren: Andrew Fouch of Cedar Rapids, Joel Fouch of Altoona, and Taylor Fouch of Altoona; her sister, Colleen (Mike) Weiser of Marshalltown.She is preceded in death by her parents and her nephew, Todd Weiser.
