Keith Egger

Keith D. Egger, 63, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.   A memorial Service for Keith will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marshalltown. The Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Keith and his family.   Keith Egger was born on February 12, 1956 in Marshalltown to Dale C. and Maradean Yetley Egger. Keith graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Engineering. He had a passion for electronics both as a hobby and a career. He had previously worked for Emerson and retired from Underwriters Laboratories (previously Springboard and Maytag) in Newton. Keith was also a Lay Pastor at Redeemer Lutheran Church and enjoyed writing in his journals and traveling all over the world for his job.   Keith is survived by his mother, Maradean; siblings: Reed (Elery) Egger of Baxter and Kayle (Chris) Debrecht of Texas and nieces and nephews: Kristina, Austin, Dakota and Sebra.   Keith is preceded in death, by his father, Dale.
