Kenneth D. Suetterlin, 78, of Marshalltown, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Southridge Nursing and Rehab.

Kenneth Suetterlin was born on March 4, 1945 in Maryville, Missouri. He was the son of David and Hazel “Arlene” (Birdsell) Suetterlin. Ken graduated from Maryville High School in Missouri in 1963 and went on to receive his Master’s Degree in Divinity. Ken was united in marriage to Bonnie Ingram on July 4, 1971 at the Broadway Methodist Church. Ken had previously been a Pastor for the United Methodist Church and organist for Elim Lutheran Church in Marshalltown. He was a member of the American Guild of Organists. Ken also had previously worked as the Principal Accompanist for the Marshalltown High School music department.

Ken is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bonnie; daughter: Anna “Kat” Suetterlin of Marshalltown and his sister: Sue Ellen (Bruce) Gardner of Shawnee, Kansas.

Ken is preceded in death by his parents: David and Arlene.
