Kevin Andrew Case

Kevin A. Case, 58, of Marshalltown, Iowa, died unexpectedly on Monday, December 4, 2017 at his home. Following Kevin’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Public visitation will be held from 5:00 –7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Mitchell Family Funeral Home where his family will be present to greet friends. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed in Kevin’s name to his family. Kevin Andrew Case was born on June 8, 1959 in Dubuque, Iowa. Kevin was the son of Donald and Maxine (O’Connor) Case. He was raised and educated in the BCL school district, where he graduated with the Class of 77. Kevin was a member of the football team where he proudly wore number 70 while the team won the state football championship as seniors. Following high school, Kevin honorably served his country by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. On August 27, 1983 he was united in marriage to Donna Adelmund at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. From this union two daughters were born: Kelli and Lindsey. Kevin was a very supportive father who was always there for his girls and always offered his advice. He was a proud member of the Legion in Liscomb. Kevin also enjoyed hunting, fishing, Minnesota Vikings, Iowa Hawkeyes, playing softball with his family and spending time with his dog, Bumper. Left to cherish Kevin’s memory is his wife, Donna Case; two daughters: Kelli (Matt) Smith and Lindsey (Brian) Caputo; one grandchild on the way; siblings: Kristy (Laine) Rittgers and Kim (Kelly) Case. He is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Maxine; as well as his four legged furry companion, Bumper.
