Kevin D. Grigg, age 68, of Whitten, Iowa, passed away on the morning of August 20, 2026, in the comfort of his home.

He was born in Seward, Nebraska, to Earl and Dorothy Grigg.

Kevin called many places home throughout his life, including Nebraska, Montana, Missouri, Washington, and Iowa.

Kevin worked at Green Pet Products for 28 years before retiring in 2025. He was a dedicated employee and took great pride in his years of work there.

Kevin had a deep love of Country music and was a lifelong fan of rodeo and bull riding. He regularly attended rodeo and bull riding events and volunteered at many of them. He was a regular attendee of the Sidney, Iowa Rodeo and the Central Iowa Fair Rodeo for many years and also attended many bull riding events hosted by Double S Bull Co. Along with his wife, Sherry, he became a familiar and valued presence at these events.

Kevin was also an avid sports fan. He followed baseball closely, cheering for both the St. Louis Cardinals and Seattle Mariners, and was a devoted Kansas City Chiefs and Nebraska Cornhuskers football fan.

When he wasn't following sports or attending a rodeo or bull riding event, Kevin enjoyed reading Western novels, especially those written by Louis L'Amour. He also loved spending time with his dogs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Dorothy Grigg, his wife, Sherry Grigg, and his son, Zachary Grigg.

He is survived by his son, Kyle Grigg, his four siblings, Vicki Buti, Terry Moore, Shelly May, and Justin Grigg and numerous nieces and nephews.
