Kevin Jay Whetstine, 55 of Marshalltown passed away at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, Iowa.Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday August 18, 2011 at the Iowa Veterans Home in Malloy LRC main floor. Kevin attended Marshalltown Schools graduating with the class of 1974. He served our country honorably in the United States Air Force from November 1975 to September 1977. He had lived at the Iowa Veterans Home for the last 33 years.Left to cherish his memory is his mother; Dolores Whetstine of Council Bluffs, Iowa and his brother: Mike Whetstine of Marshalltown, nephew; Dylan and grandmother; Neva Dunham.In death Kevin rejoins his Brother Mark, father; Dick and his grandparents CR and Mabel Whetstine and Norman Dunham.
