Kevin Williams

Kevin Williams, age 68 of Marshalltown, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at UnityPoint Health -Marshalltown.

Per Kevin’s wishes, cremation rites have taken place. There will be no services held.

Born Kevin Stanley Williams on June 25, 1956, the youngest of 4 children of Paul and Rachel (Haire) Williams. Kevin graduated in the Class of 1974 from Marshalltown High School.

On July 22, 1977, Kevin was united in marriage with Julie Gallentine in Marshalltown. From this union, they were blessed with one daughter, Amie.

Kevin worked at Kiowa, Fisher Controls and other manufacturing jobs in between. He worked at Fisher Controls for several years until his health complications led to not being able to work any longer.

In his younger years, Kevin enjoyed tinkering on his motorcycles in the garage. He loved all things guns, fishing and motorcycles. Kevin was a jokester; He loved sharing laughs with his friends and family.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Phyllis Hunsaker. He is survived by his wife, Julie; daughter, Amie (Adam) Sutherland of Johnston; grandchildren, Aaron and Aidan Sutherland; and his brothers, Bruce (Sharon) Williams of Minneapolis, MN and Clayton (Ann) Williams of Marshalltown.
