Kine Pipes

Kine Pipes, 57, of Marshalltown passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016, at the Iowa River Hospice Home surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2016, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Kine and his family. Phone 641-844-1234. Kine T. Pipes was born on July 5, 1959, in Chicago, Illinois; he was the son of Kine and Teola (Wells) Pipes. Kine attended school in the area of his birth. Kine was a member of the Mount Pisgah Baptist Church in Chicago. He had worked as a house keeper and child care provider, and moved back to Marshalltown in 2012. Left to cherish his memory is his Uncle David Lee Wells, Aunt and Uncle, Viola (Alvin) Byrd, and his nieces and nephews: Shara Laws, Daniel Lott, Hosie Laws, Joel Riley, Ezell Laws, Kathleen (Eddie) Wells-Jones, Debbie (Danny Montgomery) Wells, Karen Wells, Katrina Robinson, Horace Corey, Jr., Kniambi (Jason) Garrett, Chanel Wells (Jamie Deras), Kenneth (Kiona) Donelson, Micah (Mario) Glass, Kenisha Donelson, Christopher Wells and many great nieces and nephews. In death Kine rejoins his parents, sister, Bobbie Jean Pipes, niece, Janice Pipes, nephew, Avery Pipes and grandmother, Joanna Wells and a host of other family and friends. The family would like to give a special thank you to Iowa Home Care and Iowa River Hospice for the special care they gave to Kine.
