Kwin Snyder joined our family by being carried to the car in a pocket. Mom told Poco, our 16 year old dachshund, that we must have decided not to get Kwin as we walked back to the car seemingly empty handed. But we got in and pulled a sweet little girl out of a coat pocket!

Kwinny was a protector, a snuggler, a shy soul who was a one person dog. My mom's. She would protect mom from anything and everything. She was her little sister, PK's BFF and PK's passing nearly destroyed us.But Kwin did accept her littlest sister Poppy, and although a few years older, Kwin withstood constant little puppy commotion and exuberance and they became very close. Kwin was that aloof dog to most folks, even me, but when she'd crawl into my arms occasionally it would touch me greatly.

That fateful awful night Kwinny was taken from us will haunt Poppy and me forever. We miss you with all our hearts. I am so sorry, Kwin. We will love you, always.
