Kyle Quick, 62, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the family. Kyle Dean Quick was born on June 13, 1954 in Marshalltown, Iowa; he was the son of Warner and Jeanine (Harris) Quick. He attended school in the Marshalltown School District and the Toledo School District. Kyle served his country honorably by enlisting in the United States Navy. He was united in marriage to Sherry Collins and they later divorced and he was united in marriage to Claire Ricker and they divorced. Kyle was a very caring man and it showed in the line of work that he enjoyed, he was a CNA working at Poplar Nursing Home while he was living in Casper, Wyoming for 20 years. He worked for the Marshalltown Hospital as an EMT. He also worked at Niehouse Cleaners and was a musician, playing bass, in several classic Rock Bands. Music was Kyles life, his memory will be a verse in his family and friends lives for their lifetime. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Michael (Jessie) Quick, and Andrew Quick, grandchildren; Drew, Trey, Tristen, Caitlin, Trinity and Chloe, sister, Debra Sawtelle; mother, Jeanine and ex-wives, Sherry Collins, and Claire Ricker, and step-sister Julie Hinegardner, and step-brother Mark Schnider. In death Kyle rejoins his father, Warner Quick and niece, Heather Hofer.
