Kyle A. Shaw

Kyle Alan Shaw was born on July 1, 1988 in Berrien Springs Michigan to Jeff and Becky Shaw. He died on April 5th 2025. Kyle graduated from Marshalltown High School in 2006, where he participated in junior varsity football and excelled in creating amazing pottery. He was a baptized member of the Seventh day Adventist Church. Kyle worked at Tastee Freez, Walmart, Vogel Brothers Flooring and as an independent finish carpentry contractor. His final employment was with Quick Performance in Ames.

Kyle’s interests were competitive sports including online gaming, Marshalltown softball league, golf, and competitive dart league, where he placed 2nd in a doubles Iowa state tournament. He loved to watch all sports, but especially the Packers football. Kyle also loved shooting off fireworks and Mustang cars. He married Ali Stewart in 2009, and they had 2 children: Carson and Brielle. Later he and Corina Aebersold had a daughter Evelina.

Kyle is preceded in death by his mother Becky, his grand parents: Gene and Dorothy Shaw, Charles and Barbara Keeler and Aunt Nancy. He is survived by his grandma Geraldine Walker from Albion, parents: Jeff and Patty Shaw of Melbourne, siblings; Christina Shaw, Michelle Adams, Lindsey Wiggins (Neil Roberts husband) Sarah May, and Rob Loor (Cassi wife) and his children Carson, Brielle and Evelina. Kyle wanted them to know that he loved them immensely. He is survived by uncle Jim, aunt Pam, uncle Mike Watson, aunt Betsy, Scott Glenn and other extended family members.

A funeral service has been scheduled for Friday, April 11, 2025 starting at 1:00 P.M. at Mitchell Family Funeral Home of Marshalltown. Pastor Mark Magnusson will be officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, April 10 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M also at the funeral home. His final resting place will be at Melbourne Memorial Garden Cemetery.
