Larry L. Duncan, 68, of Montour, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center. Funeral services for Larry will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. where his family will be present to greet family and friends. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Larry and his family. Larry Lee Duncan was born June 27, 1946 to Max and Bernice (Loney) Duncan in Marshalltown, IA. He was united in marriage to Barbara Ann (Boyington) on June 6, 1970 at the State Center United Methodist Church. He worked at Fisher Controls as a Machinist. Larry enjoyed working, spending time with his family at the lake house in Lake Thunderhead, MO, and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife; Barbara Duncan of Montour, IA; sons: Jeffrey (Heather) Duncan of Rural Gilman, IA; Chad (Andrea) Duncan of Rural Garwin, IA; and Timothy (Megan) Duncan of rural Garwin, IA; six grandchildren: Madison, Zoe, Izabelle, Zachery, Mason, and Ashlynn; mother; Bernice Duncan, and his sister Sandra (Darold) Nuese of Dillon, IA. He is preceded in death by his father, Max Leroy Duncan.
