Larry Louis Emmert

Larry Louis Emmert, age 73, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on December 24, 2023, at Mary Greely Hospital in Ames.

Larry Emmert was born on September 10, 1950, in Manchester, Iowa. He was the son of Ray and Helen (Kemp) Emmert. Larry attended Delhi High School and graduated with the class of 1969. On September 2, 1978, Larry married his wife Denise (Vos) Emmert at Lynnville, Iowa. Larry was a long-haul truck driver that spent the majority of the week on the road. He mainly loved his semi-truck, but he also loved his fur babies. Larry enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, on FB and taking care of his lawn.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years Denise, his sister Deloris, numerous relatives: Ed, Helen, David, Mark, Joe, Denise, Diann and Dave, Donna and Terry, Don and Martha, Scott, Tricia, Amy, Jason, Leah, and Evan, and his fur babies: Max and Mandy.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents Ray and Helen, his brother Thomas, his sisters: Helen and Lorraine, and both his parent in-laws.
