Larry Moyer

Larry Moyer, age 83, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown. Graveside services for Larry will take place on Friday, August 26 at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens at 11:00 A.M. with full military honors provided by the combined VFW / American Legion of the surrounding area. Ph 641-844-1234 Larry was born November 13, 1938, the only son of Harold and Blanche (Shelton) Moyer. After graduating from Ferguson High School, he honorably served his country in the United States Army. Upon his return, he made his home in Marshalltown, where he worked in the office at Fisher Controls on Governor Road. Larry was a quiet man who loved people, especially spending time with friends out to eat and giving the wait-staff a hard time and a smile. His favorite place to eat with his group of friends was Perkins – you may know them from the first table when you walk in. He will be deeply missed by those dear friends, especially his best friend since childhood, Ralph Stanley. In eternal life he is reunited with his parents.
