As a boy he moved to Iowa and attended West Marshall High School, and was a graduate of the class of 1970. Larry married Pam Bown on October 31, 1981 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa and the two made their lives together. Larry was a truck driver for many years hauling gas and also a machinist more recently. In his free time he loved to work on crossword and Sudoku puzzles. He taught his grandchildren to play Sudoku as well. When he was younger he loved to ride his motorcycle to Colorado and camp. He and Pam would spend their summers in Lake Rathbun and Daisy Long Campground, enjoying the beautiful scenery. He had a wild side that he loved to get out when he would drag race in Knoxville, Iowa. Family is all Larry ever needed to be rich; he will be missed by anyone that had the opportunity to have known him. Left to cherish Larry’s memory is his wife of 37 years Pam, children; Donnie (Gina) Bown of State Center, and daughter Dominique (Brandon) McCullough of Ankeny, grandchildren: Nicholas McLaughlin, Karlie Bown, and Blake Bown. Also his siblings; Donald (Carmen) Pritchett of Zearing, Kenny (Marcia) Pritchett of Clemons, Roy (Carol) Pritchett of Albion, Murdie Faye Fisher of Minnesota, Carolyn Sillyman of Missouri, Reta (Ray) Langloss of Clemons, and Vicky (Tony) Grage of Arkansas, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and his cherished four legged companions Bailey and Maisey. He is preceded in death by his parents Murdie and Faye.
