Larry L. Street

Larry Street, age 64 of Gladbrook, Iowa, passed away in the comfort of his home on the evening of July 14, 2025.

Per Larry’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and a family led celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Larry’s name may be directed to his family for a later designation. Larry Lee Street was born May 29, 1961 in Marshalltown, Iowa. He was the oldest of four children born to Darroll and Peggy (Fish) Street. He grew up in Gladbrook, Iowa where he also attended school. Larry raised two daughters, Kelsey and Devin. He worked as a machine operator for Grain Products and SL. In all things, Larry was very much a simple man. He enjoyed going out hunting during the various seasons, attending the drag races, kicking back and having a few drinks alongside his friends and spending time with his family.

Those left to remember and cherish his memory are his children, Kelsey Hartsoe and Devin (Joey) Hartsoe; his grandchildren, Joshua, Haley, Zoey, Silas, Nollie and Axl; his mother, Peggy Street; brothers, David (Laurie) Street and Greg Street; alongside numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Darroll Street; his brother, Emmett Street; sister-in-law, Jill Street; his grandparents Harry and Deloris Fish and Duane and Lois Street; and his niece Jessica Street.
