Laurie J. Halverson

Laurie Jean Halverson, 65, died August 29th, 2026, at Parkridge Specialty Care Nursing Facility in Pleasant Hill. She was born on July 17, 1961, to the late Elmer Howard and Marlene Paul Halverson. Laurie’s joy in life was music.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Marie.

Laurie is survived by her siblings: Cheryl Halverson of Union, Elmo (Karen) Halverson of Bixby, OK., Mark Halverson of New Hampton, Tina (Randy) Coppock of Marshalltown, and Tammy (Rick) Paul, also of Marshalltown.
