Born LeeAnn Faye Ambler on October 11th, 1957, in Marshalltown, she was the daughter of Larry D. and Patricia (Hansen) Ambler. LeeAnn grew up on the family farm along with three other sisters. LeeAnn was a member of the Garwin United Methodist Church and attended school in Garwin, graduating in 1976. LeeAnn was formerly married to Martin Kaiser, and the couple was blessed with a son, Justin Jay, who was born on September 10th, 1976. LeeAnn attended MCC taking business courses and held a secretarial job for the U.A.W. Local #893 in Marshalltown for 27 faithful years. She transferred to the Iowa Federation of Labor AFL-CIO in Des Moines in the year 2010, and was currently employed there until her health began to fail. She had a love of gardening, reading and going boating. As a child, she told her mother not to plant liver- which was a huge dislike! On November 1st, 2011, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Richard Stichter, in Las Vegas. They made their home on an acreage in Marshalltown after a short courtship of 13 years. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Rick, her son Justin Jay, parents Larry and Patricia Ambler, three sisters- Lorri (Tom) Waite, Lyna Bru and Paula (Richard) Aalfs, step-son Tanner(Katrina) and his son Byron with another baby on the way and step-daughter Brittney(Mike) and their sons, Chase and Luca, nieces and nephews-Megan and Dustin Bessman, twins Regann and Ryann, Kelsey Ambler and Brooke Aalfs, her cats Beethoven and Beatrice (AKA Centerline and Asphalt!) as well as many co-workers and friends. In death, she rejoined her grandparents.
