Leslie George Osborne Jr.

Leslie G. Osborne Jr., 78, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the Iowa River Hospice Home. Les spent his last moments with his wife, (Carin), granddaughter, (Lupe) and daughter (Wendy). Leslie George Osborne Jr was born on February 25, 1940 in New Jersey, the son of Leslie George Sr. and Edna May (Wistner) Osborne.  On Christmas Eve of 2018, Leslie was united in marriage to his love, Carin Schwartz at the Iowa Methodist Hospital.  Leslie was a hardworking man who was self-employed his entire life.  He enjoyed playing darts, spending time with his family, and watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and Minnesota Vikings. Left to cherish his memory is his newly married wife, Carin R. Osborne; children: Tammy Cardenas, George Osborne, Robin Osborne, Tracy Osborne and Wendy Wells; 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by 3 grandchildren and 2 ex-wives.
