Linda Jean Adams

Linda Jean Adams, 68, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Iowa River Hospice Home with her loving husband by her side. Linda Jean Fisher was born on October 21, 1949 in Marshalltown, Iowa the daughter of Lee and Lois (Smith) Fisher.  On November 5, 1987, Linda was united in marriage to the love of her life, Larry Adams in Marshalltown, Iowa.  She was a very hardworking woman and most recently dedicated her working career at the Iowa Veterans Home as a C.N.A.  Linda had a passion for camping, taking photos, fishing, playing on her computer and most importantly spending time with her family. Left to cherish her memory is her husband: Larry; children: Cynthia Matthews and Cheryl Marie Wirkner; two step-children: Mike Adams and Sheryl Clingerman; 9 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and one step great-grandchild; siblings: Audrey Snyder, Blanche Draegert and Mike Fisher; sister-in-law’s: Janice Engle and Karen Versteegh; brother-in-law’s: Donnie Engle and Duane Versteegh. Linda is preceded in death by her parents; one sister: Kathy and one nephew: Danny.
