Linda Callahan

Linda Callahan, 75, of Beaman, Iowa, passed away on the evening of November 11, 2022 at Oakview Nursing Home in Conrad, Iowa surrounded by her loving family.

Services for Linda will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 beginning at 11:00 A.M. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to services. Linda Lois Harbin was born March 5, 1947 to parents John Harbin and Hazel Kelly. Additionally, she was raised by Harold Bonham. Linda grew up and attended school with BCL Schools where she graduated in the class of 1965.

On June 18, 1965, Linda was united in marriage to the love of her life David Callahan at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Together they began their lives together beginning a family and raising their children Jennifer and Eric. Linda loved her family unconditionally and made a career of making her family her top priority.

In her free time, she loved to go to garage sales and bargain hunt, take shopping trips, arrange flowers, work in her garden, and take care of her family. She enjoyed going camping as a family, mowing the yard and always trying to stay busy.

Those left to remember and cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, David Callahan; her children Jennifer (Michael) Fouts and Eric Callahan; her grandchildren, Gavin, Robert (Rory), Breana (Manuel), Austin, Sadie, Caitlyn, and Cameron; her great-grandchildren, Aashlyn, Dayton, Shaylee, Bryden, Greyson, Braxton, Mason, Gracie, Charlie, Jameson, Jonathon, Houston, and Hudson.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Hazel Bonham and her half brother John Harbin Jr.
