Linda was born on February 3, 1947 in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Geneva Louks, both of Laurel, Iowa. She graduated from the La James Beauty School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1965. Linda went on to work for the family business, Louks Manufacturing from 1980-1993. In 1993, she became the Baker for the Iowa Veterans Home. While working at the Veterans Home, Linda decided to get certified in Massage Therapy and Reiki from 1998-1999. In 2003, Linda retired from the Iowa Veterans Home. After many years of living in Laurel and Melbourne, she decided in 2005 to move to Lenexa, Kansas, with her husband, Bradley Yeutter. Her given name may have been Linda, but she answered to many names such as: Twink, Twinkle, Mom, Nana, Aunt Toto and Angel. Linda was a kind, loving, generous soul who worked hard and loved her family and friends dearly. She was very proud of all four of her children, but most of all she loved being “Nana”. Linda also enjoyed taking pictures of sunsets and flowers, fly-fishing, shooting, shopping, cooking and spending time with her loved ones. Linda did not know a stranger, it didn’t matter if she was at a restaurant, grocery store, or just walking down the street, she would always walk away with a new friend. Linda had an infectious smile that would just light up a room. She will be remembered for her whit, spunk and fiery personality. She will be deeply missed by all, but please know that her legacy will live on in all of our hearts forever. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Brad Yeutter; children: Brandon Rook of Kansas City, MO, Mendy (Ryan) Bailey of State Center, IA, Darcy Zahnd of Marshalltown, IA and Travis (Lory) Harre of Ferguson, IA; grandchildren: Blair, Savannah, Cole, Cheyenne, T.J., Taylor, Tamera and Lainey; five great-grandchildren and one more on the way; siblings: Bobette Garrington, Penny Youngblood, Pam Bollhoefer and Gordon Louks. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Geneva Louks as well as one sister, Sharon Dillman.
