Linda Kay Krantz

Linda Kay Krantz, 75, died on Sunday, March 1st, 2026 at Unity Point- Marshalltown, after complications of COPD. She was surrounded by her family.

Linda Kay Krantz was born in Iowa City, Iowa on December 10, 1950 to Jack and Lois Huxford. She graduated from West High School in 1969. Linda was part of the first graduating class of the new high school in Iowa City. After graduation, she was employed by Northwestern Bell Telephone Company for three years before transferring to Southern Bell Telephone Company in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Linda retired in 2002. She enjoyed gardening, golfing, crocheting, reading, playing cards and making friends. Linda moved to Marshalltown several years ago to be closer to her family.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents: Jack and Lois Huxford and her son: Justen Krantz. Left to cherish her memory are her sister: Barbara (Larry) Schrum; niece: Elizabeth (Alex) Schelling; nephew: Jacob (Kathryn) Schrum, and three great nephews: Theodore Schrum, Aiden Schrum and Tripp Schelling.
