Linda Kunc

Linda Kunc, age 76, of Gladbrook, Iowa and formerly of Marshalltown, passed away on the evening of April 18, 2026 at Unity Point Grundy Memorial Hospital in Grundy Center.

Linda Lee Gray was born October 22, 1949 in Marshalltown, Iowa. She was one of three children born to Robert and Wilma (Dressen) Gray. She attended school in Marshalltown, Iowa later being a graduate of Marshalltown High School with the Class of 1967.

Linda had two children, Larry and Lori. She began raising them in Cedar Falls and eventually moved to Gladbrook in 1994. She was a longtime worker for Meskwaki Bingo and Casino in Tama, Iowa as a cashier and drink attendant. It was while working at the casino that she met Larry Kunc. On July 19, 2003, she and Larry were united in marriage. She retired from Meskwaki after 25 years. Linda and Larry were able to make as many memories as they could in the four years, they were together until his passing in 2008. In her free time, Linda enjoyed watching tv and spending time with her great-grandchildren.

Those left to remember and cherish her memory are her children, Larry (Tracy) Eastman Jr. of Nevada, IA and Lori (John) Belthuis of Evansdale, IA; four grandchildren, Brittany (Derek), Jami, Abbie and Joseph ; six great-grandchildren, Taylor, Cheyenne, Bentley, Ryder, Cameron and Zealynn; along with her sister, Marilyn Mooney and her nieces, Michelle Wilson and Amy Mooney-Geels.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Kunc; her parents, Robert and Wilma Gray; and her brother Robert Gray Jr.
