Linda Gail Maley

Linda Gail (Hauser) Maley passed away on March 7, 2018 at the Iowa River Hospice Home. She was born November 2, 1942 in Centerville, Iowa to parents Raymond and Virginia (Davis) Hauser. She grew up in Marshalltown and Graduated from MHS with the class of 1960. She was married to Roger Dent for a number of years, and they raised two sons, Jeff and Todd. They later divorced and in 2000, she married Stephen Maley. He preceded her in death in August of 2015. Linda spent many years working at Emerson Electric, retiring from there in 2008. She is survived by her two sons, Jeff (Becky) Dent of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Todd, four grandsons, one great0grandson, and her siblings: Jan (Gary) Neuroth of Marshalltown, Mary Jane (Everett) Halsted of State Center, and Paul Dale (Diane) Hauser of Iowa City, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. At her request, there will be no service held. Cremation rites have been accorded and a private family service will be held at a later date. Mitchell Family Funeral Homes has been charge of arrangements.
