Linda Robbins, 53, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away, on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. A public visitation for Linda will be held from 4:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home where Lindas family will be present to greet friends. The Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Linda and her family.Linda Robbins was born on March 25, 1960, in Marshalltown, Iowa. She was the daughter of LaVern and Dixie (Johnson) Kroener. Linda was raised and educated in the Marshall County school district, graduating from Green Mountain High School. After high school, Linda attended Marshalltown Community College and later got her bachelor degree from Buena Vista College. Linda had a special place in her heart for everyone and was known for putting others needs before her own. She worked at North Star in Marshalltown, Iowa, and was also a teachers aide for 9 years working with special needs children. Linda enjoyed playing games on her computer, like bingo and spades. She also loved listening to music and riding Harleys. Linda is survived by her parents: LaVern Kroener and Dixie (Kroener) Johnson; one daughter: Leigha Robbins; Siblings: Sharon Schaumburg, Joany Swanson, Phyllis Kroener, Marsha Underberg, Cindy King and Teresa Brinker.She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Ole and Lulu Johnson, Loretta and Raymond Kroener; step mother, Kris Kroener; one niece, Taylor King, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
