Linda Runner

Linda Runner, 69, of Marshalltown passed away on March 31, 2019 at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown with her family at her side.    A memorial visitation for Linda will be held on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Linda and her family.    Linda (Connley) Runner was born to Harold and Doris (Krouse) Connley in Marshalltown, Iowa on June 25, 1949. She attended school in the Marshalltown Community School District and graduated from Marshalltown High School in the class of 1967. She later on met her husband Jim and the two were united in marriage on January 2, 1970. The two raised a daughter Tracy (Runner) Hundley. She worked at Mechdyne in Marshalltown as well as working at Skatetown. In her free time, you would often find her shopping, crafting, going to the Y, or during her once a month luncheon that she would have with her fellow classmates that she graduated with.    Left to cherish her memory is her husband Jim Runner; her daughter Tracy (Troy Hutcheson) Hundley; sister Deb (LaVerne) Paul; mother Doris Connley; mother-in-law Marjorie Runner; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Joyce and Steve Salasek; her nephews Josh (Rachel) Cook, Jeff (Anne) Salasek and Nick (Lindsay) Salasek ,as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and her fur grandbabies.    In death, Linda rejoins her father Harold and her father-in-law Delmar Runner.
