Lloyd 'Pudge' Harvey

Lloyd Pudge Harvey, 82, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017, in the comfort of his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Visitation will be from 9:30 until service time at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Military Honors will be provided by the combined VFW/American Legion Honor Guard. Phone 641-844-1234 Lloyd Reese Harvey was born on June 29, 1933, in Marshalltown, Iowa; he was the son of Floyd and Margaret (Hoadley) Harvey and he attended school in the Marshalltown school district. Lloyd served his county honorably in the United States Army for 1954 until 1955. He was united in marriage to Jean Ann Forman and they later divorced. Lloyd was then united in marriage to Lydia Vecera and she later passed away. Lloyd resided in Marshalltown his entire life and had worked and retired for Dunham-Bush as a welder. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. Lloyd always enjoyed the outdoors and loved hunting and fishing. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Nancy (Mark) Larson of Marshalltown and Monica (Mark) Wagenbach of Burlington, Iowa; grandchildren, LynnSue(Charles) Tremain of State Center, their children, Elijah, Catum, granddaughter, Kristy(Jeremy) Schmidt of Urbandale, Iowa and their son, Caden Greening, granddaughter, Bethney(Luke) Ahrendsen of Johnston, Iowa and their daughter Lyla and one on the way and brother, Don (Linda) Harvey of Marshalltown and nieces and nephews. In death Lloyd rejoins his parents Floyd and Margaret and wife.
