Lois (Catherwood) Iverson

Lois Iverson, 61, of Conrad, Iowa passed away at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo on Saturday, November 9, 2019. A visitation for family and friends will take place on November 14, 2019 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Services will take place on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Cremation rites will follow services. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Lois Jean Catherwood was born December 16, 1957 in Waterloo, Iowa to parents Lawrence and Brenda (Tanner) Catherwood.  Lois cherished her family and all of the little things life has to offer.  She loved all animals and especially her dog, Nikita. Left to cherish her memory are her husband David; her children Shannon (Jason) Thiessen of Whitten, Iowa, and Jason (Teri) Kriegel of Alexandria, Minnesota; step-children; Jennifer (Bill) Cozad of Churdan, IA; and Brian Kriegel of Marshalltown, IA; grandchildren: Adam Thiessen, Austin (Reece) Strachota, Kayley (Brandon) Kriegel, Makalah Reed, Blaze Kriegel, Dakota Kriegel, Berry Moore, Trista Cozad, Aliana Kriegel, Nora Kriegel, Bryson Kriegel and Brian Kriegel Jr.; her great- grandchildren Korbyn Strachota and Hollis Strachota; her brother, Larry Catherwood of Garwin, IA; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her best friend/sister, Sandy Gibbs. In death she rejoins her parents; sister, Donna Lepley; son, Travis Kriegel; and her first husband, Wendell Kriegel.
