Lori Ann (Maulsby) Klingbeil, 47, of Marcus, Iowa, died Saturday, March 31st, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 7th, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Friends may call at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday. Memorials may be directed to Citizens Savings Bank in Gilman for the education of Zach. Born Lori Ann Maulsby on November 20th, 1959, in Marshalltown, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Donna (Carr) Maulsby. She was raised in the LeGrand community, was drum major for the high school band, participated in the Central Iowa Eye Openers and graduated from the LDF High School in 1978. Lori was a homemaker and later moved to northwest Iowa to the LeMars, Remsen, Marcus communities. On May 24th, 1997, she was united in marriage to David Klingbeil. They made their home in Marcus. Lori enjoyed bands and attending the U of I games with family so she could listen to them. Left to mourn her loss are her husband, David of Marcus, three children: Donnie (Natalie) Baker of Edinburgh, Scotland, Megan (Moises) Juarez of Sheldon, and Zachary James Klingbeil of Marcus, her parents Kenneth and Donna Maulsby of Montour, her sister Tracy (Gary) Catron of Gilman, brother Kenny Maulsby, Jr. of Montezuma, grandchildren: Keyshawn Estberg of Sheldon and Emily Cheyanne Juarez of Sheldon, two nephews and three nieces: Lindsay (Felicia) Catron of Gilman, Ryan Catron of Marshalltown and Kendra Maulsby, Sydney Maulsby and Cody Maulsby all of Marshalltown, as well as her in-laws: Don (Dawn) Klingbeil of Remsen, Elaine Eppling of LeMars and Davids siblings: Kristi (Kurt) Kunkel of LeMars, Jody (Grant) Erikson of LeMars, Tonia (Raymond) Konz of Marcus and Kevin Klingbeil of Remsen as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In death she has rejoined her grandparents, Earl and Alice Gallentine and Roy and Mabel Carr.
