Lori Ring, 53, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 23, 2016, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the family. Lori Jean Tutt was born on February 1, 1963, in Spirit Lake, Iowa; she was the daughter of Glenn E. and Margaret (Anderson) Tutt. Lori attended school in the Laurens/Marathon Community School District graduating with the class of 1980. Lori then attended Iowa Lakes Community College and attained her Associates Degree in Graphic Design. On October 23, 1982, Lori was united in marriage to Daniel Ring at the Emmetsburg United Methodist Church and resided in Emmetsburg until 1997, when they moved to Marshalltown, Iowa, she had worked at SNC Manufacturing and Lennox Industries. Lori enjoyed most spending time with her family and her 6 year old granddaughter, Jeannae, coloring in adult coloring books and word search puzzles. One of her greatest loves was Viking Football games which she enjoyed attending. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 34 years Daniel, children, Nicole(Tom) Hallam, and Christopher(Brittany) Ring all of Marshalltown, Iowa and her beautiful granddaughter, Jeannae, siblings, David(Fran) Tutt of Spencer, Iowa, Lisa (Jim)Cravens of Port Aransas, Texas, sister-in-laws, Jolene( Doug) Cleveringa of Sioux Center, Iowa, Mike(Jodi) Ring of Emmetsburg, Iowa and Jeff Ring of Wichita, Kansas and her beloved dogs, Bear and Abbi. In death Lori rejoins her parents, Glenn and Margaret Tutt, mother and father-in-law, John and Jean Ring, sister, Linda (Art) Harriman, Great Uncle, Wendall Tutt and a grandchild.
