After his honorable discharge, they made Marshalltown their home where she was employed at Caldwell General Store on 9th and Lincolnway, Wal-Mart and Grandview Heights.           Lorna loved her family above anything else in her life. She enjoyed find-a-word puzzles, traveling, pets and her six-toed cat.           Left to cherish her memory are Ray “Radar”, her beloved husband of 58 years; children Michael (Linda) Gould of Des Moines and Stacie (Greg) Holmes of Marshalltown,  grandson-Shane Holmes, her brother Dan Vodochodsky of Tama and sister-in-law Chylena (Mac) German of LeGrand, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.           In death, Lorna rejoined her parents, brother, John, and best friend Jane Freese.
