Louann Heinle

Louann Heinle, 74, of Laurel, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, December 14, 2020 under the care of Iowa River Hospice. Per the wishes of Louann and her family, cremation rites have been accorded and private family services will take place. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation. Born October 17, 1946 in Malcolm, Iowa, she was the daughter of Ray and Margaret (Truman) Thompson. Louann graduated from Grinnell High School. On July 22, 1966 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Raye Heinle, in Malcolm. Louann was a wonderful homemaker and loved her family very much. In her free time, she enjoyed watching movies and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 54 years, Raye; her daughter, Teresa (Mike) Burkle; grandchildren: Katelin (Justin) Wood and Brian Gray; great-grandchildren: Boston, Temperence, Brooklyn and Mariah Wood and her brothers: Delbert (Val) Thompson, Kenny (Bev) Thompson and Bill Thompson. Louann is preceded in death by her parents, Ray & Margaret.
