Louise Wilma (Wolfe) Debler

Louise Wilma Debler, 94, of the Odd Fellows Apartments in Marshalltown, died early Sunday, November 23rd, at the MMSC.Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 26th, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home with Pastor Harlan Nuss officiating. Ph 641-844-1234.Born on September 27th, 1914, in Linn Township, Dallas County, Iowa, she was the daughter of Walter and Mabel (Travis) Knapp. She graduated from the Stuart High School in 1931.On March 19th, 1932, she was united in marriage to Dale Tony Wolfe. She retired in 1980 as manager of the housekeeping department at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Elks Lodge #1134 in Iowa City, the Marshall Rebekah Lodge #40, Women of the Moose #71 and the 1st Christian Church of Stuart.Left to cherish her memory is three children: Norman Wolfe of Menlo, Iowa, Judy Kidwell of Iowa City and Jim (Margaret) Wolfe of Marshalltown, 11 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren, her Odd Fellows Apt. family and a host of friends.In death she has rejoined her parents, brother Jerry Knapp and sisters Bonnie Sullivan and Joyce Walter.
