Louise Houghton, 77 of State Center, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.Per Louises wishes; cremation rites have been accorded and there are currently no services scheduled. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Louise and her family. Phone 641-844-1234.Louise Lyman was born on March 17, 1936, in Marshalltown, Iowa to Forest and Alice Lyman. She was united in marriage to Bob Houghton on February 17, 1958 at Saint Cecilia Church in Ames, Iowa. Louise was employed with Central State Bank as a Teller for sixteen years until her retirement.Left to cherish her memory is her husband Bob; daughter: Cyndy Houghton from San Diego, California; grandchildren: Max, Marisa and Michael; and brother: Lawrence (Jeanine) Lyman of Des Moines.Louise is preceded in death by both of her parents.
