Lucy Edith Middleton, 90, of Rhodes, died Monday, August 31, 2009, at State Center Nursing and Rehab Center in State Center.There will be no services at this time. Lucy, giving in death as she did in life, donated her body to Des Moines University so that others could learn.Left to mourn her loss is her daughter, Bev (Don) Oxley of Rhodes; grandchildren Andy (Sue)Oxley and son, Ben,of Rhodes and Elery (Reed) Egger of State Center; and great-grandchildren Kristina, Austin, and Dakota.
