Luther R. Carlson

Luther Raymond Carlson, age 87, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away early in the morning of Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Accura Healthcare of Marshalltown. Luther was born August 7, 1938 in Forest City, Iowa to parents Selmer Luther and Stella Jeanette (Wolfs) Carlson. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Education at Luther College, later working in Marshalltown as Science Junior High teacher. He also proudly served in the National Guard.

Luther is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
