Marc Cole

Marc Alan Cole, 66, of Liscomb, Iowa, formerly of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on February 25, 2022 at Allen Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 12th, 2022 at 5:00 P.M. at Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 12th with the services following visitation. Burial will be held at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel, Iowa on Monday, March 14th. Marc was born on October 2, 1955 in Des Moines, Iowa to Donald Richard Cole and Dora Jean Werner. On January 28, 1983 Marc was united in Marriage to Elizabeth Weber. They later divorced in 2008. On March 17, 2009 Marc was united in Marriage to Marilyn Choate. They later divorced in 2012. Marc graduated from High School in 1974 in Boise, Idaho. After graduating he was enlisted into the Army where he earned the rank as an E4 specialist from 1974 to 1980, where he was stationed in Germany, Korea, Hawaii, and San Francisco. In 1988 Marc graduated from Marshalltown Community College as a Draftsman. Left to cherish his memory are his children: David (Jessica) Cole of Des Moines, Donovan (Kimberly) Cole of Liscomb, Ia, and Debra (Cole) Denis Velasquez, of Austin, TX. His former son in law Mario Moreno Segovia. His Grandchildren: Conner Blanchard, Dewey Walker, Danny Walker, Aiden Cole, Riley Cole, Marcus Moreno, William Moreno, Rosa Moreno, Yasmin Villacorta and his great grandson Julio Berrios Torres. His Siblings Dawnelle (Darren) Kennedy, and Brett (Lori) Cole. As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. In death Marc has rejoined his parents Donald Cole, Dora Cole, his grandparents Edgar Werner and Faith Miller, his grandsons Jace Moreno and Mario Moreno Quintanilla and his beloved dogs Bandit and Gabby. - Lovingly written by the family
