Marcella Toddy Bryant, 87, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away, Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Sunday, November 2, 2014, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. The family requests casual dress for moms celebration. Marcella Irene Doser was born on July 31, 1927, in St. Anthony, Iowa. She was the daughter of Theodore and Emma (Richerodt) Doser. Marcella attended School in the St. Anthony School District graduating with the class of 1943. On December 18, 1947, Marcella was united in marriage to Wayne Eldah Bryant in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in St. Anthony, Iowa. Wayne and Toddy lived in the Marshalltown area their entire married lives. She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church. Toddy worked in the Miller School cafeteria for a number of years. She enjoyed her family, loved the out of doors, was a motorcycle enthusiast, a great baker, and made the best darn potato salad ever! Left to cherish her memory are her children: Mary Jo (Bill) Seeger of Marshalltown, Iowa; Michael Mick (Diane) Bryant of Legrand, Iowa; Cindy Lou (Tom) Aneweer of Georgetown, Texas; and Tina Marie (Ivan) Waterman of Glendale Arizona; 10 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. In death, Toddy rejoins her parents, Theodore and Emma; husband, Wayne (2003); son, Tom (1994); 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
