Margaret Walters

Margaret Walters, 89 passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Zearing Health Care Center in Zearing, Iowa. Cremation rites have been accorded and there are currently no services scheduled. Margaret Walters was born in Eldora, Iowa to George and Freda Klatt Frerichs on June 8, 1925. She attended county school and then attended Owasa Schools and later graduated from Steamboat Rock High School in 1943. She married George Walters on May 10, 1953. They lived on the family farm for eighteen years and then moved to Zearing, Iowa in 1971 where they since have resided. Margaret was a very caring person who liked to visit with people. She was a member of St Johns Lutheran Church of Hubbard, Iowa. Margaret was survived by her husband George, two sister in laws: Pat and Elaine Frerichs, brother in law: Donald Walters and three nephews: Lonnie, Kyle and Shawn Frerichs. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Harlan and Wayne Frerichs, nephew: Dennis Frerichs and a sister in law Darlene Walters.
