Margaret Williams

Margaret Ann Williams, 77, of Marshalltown, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Southridge Specialty Care and under Iowa River Hospice.

Margaret Filloon was born on August 28, 1946 in Marshalltown to Warren and Ethel (Addy) Filloon. After high school, she attended the Iowa School of Beauty. Margaret was united in marriage to Phillip Dean Williams in Omaha, Nebraska. Together, they lived their married lives together in Toledo. Margaret had worked for Hardees, Country Kitchen and most recently at Meskwaki Casino as a hostess. She was a member of the Eagles in Tama and the Toledo American Legion. Margaret enjoyed cooking for her family, crocheting and painting. She was a creative person and loved helping others.

Margaret is survived by her husband: Phillip. Children: Missy (Paul) Broekemeier of Garwin, Toby Williams of Toledo and Chris Howe of Elbron. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister: Becky Wehrman of Marshalltown; sister-in-law: Connie Filloon of Tama and brother-in-law’s: Craig (Char) Williams, Scott (Barb) Williams and Kyle (Lois) Williams.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents: Warren and Ethel; daughter: Teresa Williams-Brewer; siblings: Larry Filloon and Phillip Filloon; brother-in-law: Gary Wehrman and sister-in-law: Donna Filloon.
