Here’s the story, about a woman named Tiny, who was bringing up four very lovely girls (and a boy). All of them had hair of gold, except for Holly, the youngest one with curls. It’s the story, of a man named Steve, who was busy with three kids of his own. There were four of them, living all together, yet they were all alone. Til the one day when the lady met this fella, and they knew that it was much more than a hunch. That this group must somehow form a family, that's the way we all became the Schmidty bunch. Although her story will continue without her Schmidty bunch, we know she is no longer in pain and is finally reunited with many family, friends, and pets. Marilynn “Tiny” Schmidt, 67, of Marshalltown, Iowa was called to rest on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Central Iowa Healthcare. She was a beautiful lady. She always laughed. She was wonderful. She loved hard. She loved fiercely. She was a mother, wife, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She had great times and hard times, but she always had resilience and a positive attitude. She was the strongest person we knew. Marilynn Dorothea Schmidt was born on January 15, 1951 in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of James and Dorothea (Krier) Moehrl. She was raised and educated in the Marshalltown School District. On September 29,1990, Tiny was united in marriage to Steven Schmidt.
