Mark N. Hoover, age 45, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away at home on Saturday, July 5, 2025.

Per Mark and his family, cremation rites have been accorded under the care of the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. No formal services have been scheduled at this time. Mark Nathan Hoover was born August 9, 1979, in Marshall County, Iowa. He was the proud son of Roger Hoover of Le Grand. In February of 2001, Mark married Theresa Wills, and they later divorced.

Mark joined the workforce at a very young age. One of his favorite jobs was working for JBS Foods in Marshalltown. Mark was a supervisor in the rendering department, working third shift for almost eight years. In his free time, Mark enjoyed playing video games, watching WWE wrestling and watching horror movies. He was also a self-proclaimed cat lover.

Left to cherish his memory are his three kids: Madison, Dahlia, and Theron, all of Marshalltown; his father, Roger Hoover; his former wife, Theresa Wolken of Colorado; and his former mother-in-law, Kathy Morse.

Mark is preceded in death by his infant son, Mason Roger Hoover.
